The Living Room

There are many options in Market Street as far as food, and one of my personal favorites is The Living Room. With an ambience that makes you feel like you’ve been transported home in the middle of a bar, The Living Room is a great option for people who want something laid back and upscale at the same time. The environment lends itself to great conversations with friends and families, and the food doesn’t come out the worse for it.

My favorite appetizer is the “Big Ass Bavarian Pretzel”. It’s massive, will serve a family, and it comes out on a hanger with different mustards to dip it in. I suggest adding the Creamy Brie to add to your experience. As far as the entrees go, I love the Patty Melt. You just can’t beat that 1000 Island on grilled sourdough. For dessert, try their injectable donut holes. Covered in cinnamon sugar, once you fill one with raspberry jelly or chocolate sauce, they absolutely melt in your mouth.

Liberty Station

Another good, tasteful option in Market Street is Liberty Station. They have a wide selection of American fare with some elevated options and good seafood options in the mix. One such example would be their Brussels sprouts with smoked bacon and shaved horseradish. They positively explode with flavor in your mouth and end up being some of the best Brussels sprouts in Scottsdale. Their grilled salmon falls apart, just as good salmon should, and doesn’t have an overwhelming fishy taste to it, it’s just right. Along with the orange BBQ glaze, roasted potatoes, and green beans, you have a full plate that won’t disappoint. The apple pie with caramel and vanilla gelato is an American classic that they reimagine with an Italian twist.

The Herb Box

The Herb Box sports an innovative menu full of healthy perks such as hormone-free, natural meats, nitrate-free bacon, farmers’ cheese, cage-free eggs, and local produce whenever possible. They also offer gluten-free options. Everything they do is the definition of elevated. Take their Pear & Gorgonzola Flatbread, for example. The flatbread is covered in White Cheddar, Crispy Fried Sage, and Sage Pesto, for a flavor combo you won’t soon forget. As far as entrees, not only do they offer one of the only grass-fed burgers in Market Street, but they offer Thai Baby Back Ribs, with Green Apple-Jicama Slaw and Smoked Gouda Mac-n-Cheese. My favorite dessert option they offer is the Chocolate Ding-Dong, which reimagines a childhood favorite with cream cheese in the center and a chocolate coating on top.
